Dr. Brian Hargens

Doctor Brian Hargens graduated from Iowa State University with his DVM in 1978. He was born and raised in a small town in western Iowa and began practice at Hudson right out of vet school. Brian has two children and three grandchildren that he is very proud of. In his free time, you can find him at all Iowa State football games, watching Iowa State basketball, driving his red 1972 GMC pickup, and spending time with the grandkids. Brian especially enjoys swine and cattle work.

Dr. Chris Lichty

Doctor Chris Lichty grew up in the Cedar Valley on his family’s livestock and crop farm. He was an active member in 4-H, exhibiting horses and swine. He graduated from Iowa State University with his DVM in 2004. He completed a one-year equine Internship before starting in Hudson in 2005. He has three daughters and a boxer pup named Gus at home. In his free time, you can find him playing volleyball and fishing. Dr. Chris enjoys small animal surgery and equine work.

Dr. Maddie Geisler

Doctor Maddie Geisler graduated from Iowa State University with her DVM in 2022. She was born and raised in Black Hawk County and worked at the clinic in high school. In her free time, she likes to go on runs, bake, and spend time with her family. Dr. Maddie and her husband Bryce live north of Hudson. Maddie enjoys swine, cattle, and small animal work.

Dr. Maria Geisler

Doctor Maria Geisler was raised in Hudson on a diversified livestock farm. She went to Hudson School all her life and was involved in 4-H and FFA growing up. She graduated from Iowa State University with her DVM in 2023. In her free time, you can find her being active, cleaning, baking, crafting, and spending time on her family’s farm. Dr. Maria enjoys small animals, small ruminants, and cattle work.
